Seventy percent (70%) of your overall immunity stems from the health of your gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Probiotics are essential for optimal gut health, as they control & kill invaders with immune-boosting chemicals. The bowel environment is like a war zone, with varied bad guys wreaking havoc in the tissues. Good bacteria provide critical protection against many threats, such as Food Poisoning, Lactose Intolerance, Stomach Ulcers, Yeast Overgrowth (Candida), Vaginal Yeast Infections, as well as Harmful Bacteria, Fungi & Viruses.

Good Bacteria Probiotics are destroyed by:

    • Antibiotics & Various Drugs, including Ibuprofen (Advil)
    • Radiation & Chemotherapy
    • Alcohol, Caffeine, Cigarettes, Junk Food & Stress
    • Chlorine found in most tap & bottled water
    • Non-Organic Meat, Chicken & Dairy (containing Antibiotics)
    • High Fat/Meat Diet (Slower Digestion increases Bad Bacteria)
    • Constipation (Increases Bad Bacteria)

Why 30 Billion+ Good Bacteria (Probiotics) per Capsule?

There are TRILLIONS of bacteria in the bowel environment.  That is why billions are necessary to restore a healthy balance of microflora across the entire gastrointestinal tract. We avoid more than 30+ Billion as some people are sensitive to very high doses, and can aggravate certain inflammatory bowel issues.

    Why Human Strains?

Human Strains of Good Bacteria last longer & work better in the Gut over dairy or plant forms, which are rejected within 48 hours. Your body knows that you are not a cow or a plant!

    Why Ten Species?

There are TRILLIONS of bacteria in varying species that make up an incredibly complex gastrointestinal environment.  That is why all ten species that Health Canada allows are necessary to restore a healthy balance of microflora across the entire gastrointestinal tract. All ten (10) varied species harmonize to ensure successful, stable growth and protection of the ENTIRE GI tract.

    Why Acid-Resistant?

The Acid Resistant Vegetarian Capsules superior to enteric coating further protects the potency of these microorganisms by ensuring their safe transit through the gastric environment, ensuring maximal delivery of probiotics through the GI tract.

    Why NO INULIN?

We omitted the INULIN as this was aggravating patients with yeast in the blood (candidiasis) while causing gas, bloating and abdominal pain in certain patients especially those with SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth).

    FOR DOCTORS

GOOD BACTERIA 30+BILLION provides the probiotics required to enhance the intestinal barrier function, which deters attachment of pathogens and absorption of allergens.  By mediating the inflammatory response of the intestinal lining, the probiotics may reduce allergenic reactions and conditions such as intestinal permeability or “leaky gut”.  Essential nutrients are synthesized by probiotic bacteria, including Vitamins K, B12 & Biotin.  Human strains are primarily used due to their superior ability to colonize & multiple within the gastrointestinal tract compared to dairy and plant forms.  Dairy and plant sourced probiotics tend to be inferior as they fail to adhere to the intestinal wall, die off after ingestion or are excreted given their foreign nature, within a few days.

GOOD BACTERIA 30+BILLION is specifically designed to encourage colonization and protection of the entire length of the GI tract. The Lactobacilli (Rhamnosus, Acidophilus and Salivarius) primarily colonize within the small intestine, while the Bifidobacteria (Breve, Bifidum and Longum) are most prevalent within the large intestine. Various Lactobacilli are also included to ensure oral and vaginal probiotic health.

GOOD BACTERIA 30+BILLION may be used concomitantly with medications that destroy healthy intestinal microflora including antibiotics, acid-blockers, steroids and immunosuppressants.  Many conditions may be supported with the use of GOOD BACTERIA 30+BILLION by repopulating & maintaining intestinal microflora.  These include intestinal permeability “leaky gut”, dysbiosis, viral and bacterial gastroenteritis, parasites, diarrhea conditions (C. difficile, travelers or antibiotic-related) & constipation. Various other conditions include interstitial cystitis, vaginal dysbiosis, yeast vaginitis, recurrent urinary tract infections, eczema, sinusitis and food allergies.

HIGH POTENCY formulations offer greater clinical advantages than lower potency formulas.  Given that the probiotic survival rate upon entering the small intestine is 10-40%, and colon microflora concentrations reach 1 trillion CFUs/gram of colon contents, the amount to benefit the host must be at least 10 billion.  Many studies have underlined the benefit and safety of high potency preparations even in the immunosuppressed populations.  To achieve these high counts, GOOD BACTERIA 30+BILLION uses Acid-Resistant Vegetarian Capsules to ensure greater probiotic survival and viability through the acidic stomach for full effect in the small intestines.

MULTIPLE SPECIES within probiotic formulations, even those closely related are crucial, given their vastly different physiological properties. Many studies have shown that combining Lactobacillus species are more effective than each isolated species. In the small intestines within the usual pH of 6-7, Lactobacillus species thrive, producing byproducts that lower ambient pH, which is required for growth of other probiotics.  In fact, Bifidobacterium species double the mucosal adhesion in the presence of certain Lactobacillus strains. In turn, certain Bifidobacterium promotes the growth of L. acidophilus through the production acetate.

GOOD BACTERIA 30+BILLION provides a synergistic compilation of ten (10) clinically researched probiotics to ensure optimal health-promoting benefits.
