Make No Bones about it, This One Formula does it All!

Physician Research’s Calcium Mag+D Bone Nutrients uses the best form of Calcium (DimaCal®) together with pharmaceutical grade Magnesium (Magnesium bisglycinate), in a 2:1 ratio (500mg Calcium to 250mg Magnesium per capsule). For optimal bone building, 500 IU Vitamin D3 is included, along with Boron, Silicon & Vitamin K2 in their most bioavailable forms.

DimaCal®, a specialized form of Calcium provides both the highest mineral amount available, and is the best absorbed form of dietary calcium. Magnesium bisglycinate is a key player in promoting bone density by helping the Calcium enter the bone, improving bone strength and remodeling.

Why Do I Need a Bone Formula Supplement?

The Adult Daily Requirement for Calcium is 1,000 mg a day, with children & adolescents requiring more. Most people's diets do not provide this, and often include many dietary influences that have a negative effect on bone building. Diets that contain high protein, high salt, alcohol, caffeine, and soft drinks require more Calcium supplementation. Theses dietary factors reduce bone building, by increasing the amount of Calcium eliminated by the body.

Calcium deficiency may cause muscle cramps, fatigue, numbness and tingling of the fingers, abnormal heart rhythms, and poor appetite.

Those vulnerable to low Calcium levels include peri- & post-menopausal women, female athletes and young women who have stopped menstruating, those with a milk, dairy allergy, or lactose intolerance and vegans/vegetarians.

For women, it is critical to monitor Bone Health, well before Menopause, as the more bone mass you store, the farther you are from the progressive bone disease “Osteoporosis”. Menopausal bone loss can be minimized by proper supplementation with Physician Research’s Calcium Mag+D Bone Nutrients and Hormonal Balance with Physician Research’s Womens Support Plus.

Most North American females, even those between 18-35 years old, should be concerned about their bone health, due to factors such as poor nutrition, eating disorders, low weight and not enoug exercise.

Optimal Bone Health goes beyond taking a properly absorbed Calcium & Magnesium.

Physician Research’s Calcium Mag+D Bone Nutrients provides the most absorbable forms of Calcium & Magnesium as well as the critical bone building nutrients below:

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D in its critical form, D3 not D2, is included for its key role in bone metabolism via Calcium absorption, and for overall health. Studies have repeatedly emphasized the benefit of Vitamin D as a hormone-regulating, health-giving nutrient in its D3 form. In its D2 form, which is derived from yeast/fungus, studies have revealed the opposite, destructive effect.

Silicon

Silicon, as Orthosilicic acid, is now recognized as a critical nutrient for healthy bone metabolism, by regulating bone mineralization, affecting Calcium deposition, lowering the breakdown of bone, and increasing new bone formation.

Orthosilicic acid also stimulates collagen production, the building blocks of connective tissues, restoring elasticity to joints, skin, hair & nails.

Boron

Calcium fructoborate (FruiteX-B), the patented form of Boron, is a vital element in this formula.

Bone and Joint health is improved by regulating hormone function to provide healthier levels of Vitamin D, Calcium, Estrogen & Testosterone.

Calcium fructoborate is the super glue that holds the raw materials of your bones together.  Recent studies highlight its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, supporting bone building.

Vitamin K2

MK-7 is the critical form of Vitamin K2 and should not be confused with MK-4. The MK-7 form switches on your body’s proteins used in bone metabolism, moving calcium into your bones and out of your arteries and soft tissues. MK-7 has a longer, lasting effect in your body.

Vitamin K2 deficiency puts you at risk for Osteoporosis, Heart Disease, and Cancer.  Inappropriate areas of Calcification, such as with Heel Spurs & Kidney Stones, may indicate Vitamin K2 deficiency.

CALCIUM MAG+D BONE NUTRIENTS by PHYSICIANS RESEARCH™
encompasses the full spectrum of ingredients to support the maintenance and development of healthy bones. The regulation of bone density is dependent on many cellular reactions balancing both bone resorption and remodeling. The nutraceuticals within CALCIUM MAG+D BONE NUTRIENTS by PHYSICIANS RESEARCH™ provide the supreme ingredients for bone health and optimize a healthy bone metabolism.

CALCIUM (DIMACAL®) is a calcium salts of malic acid. This chelated forms of calcium is more water-soluble than citric acid, and therefore are more highly absorbable and bioavailable than calcium citrate. DimaCal has a much higher elemental calcium content at 29% than most other calcium forms. Additionally the 64% malic acid w/w allows DimaCal to support the Krebs cycle and glyoxalate energy producing cycles. Gastric tolerance of DimaCal is much better compared to calcium carbonate and other alkali calcium forms as DimaCal does not cause gas formation in the presence of stomach acid. The malic acid acts a natural buffer to prevent acid rebound, as with other calcium forms. Although the presence of calcium is most prevalent of all minerals, the bones and teeth use the primary body reserves. When calcium blood levels drop below the ideal level, the amounts are normalized using bone calcium. This constant depletion of bone calcium can precipitate porous bone tissue, elevating fracture risk. Although peak bone mass is achieved by the mid-thirty’s, regular and therapeutic calcium intake may have substantially beneficial effects on improving one’s bone density. In fact, oral calcium supplementation has been shown to reduce bone loss and fractures, in studies of post-menopausal women.

MAGNESIUM (BISGLYCINATE) is a chelated form of magnesium also well absorbed and has superior bioavailability. As the fourth most abundant mineral, Magnesium supports many body functions including calcium transport, enzyme regulation, and parathyroid hormone activity. The structure of the bone matrix is critically reliant on magnesium. Thus, magnesium deficiency is related to brittle bones and a greater fracture risk. Over half of the US population is not getting their recommended daily allowance (RDA), which may negatively impact their cardiovascular, neurological, and bone health. Post-menopausal women supplementing with magnesium can enhance their bone density by suppressing bone breakdown.

VITAMIN D3 (CHOLECALCIFEROL) is the more superior and biologically active form of vitamin D. This pro-hormone that is involved in many ways to facilitate bone mineralization and serum calcium levels. This is accomplished through enhanced calcium transport at the gut mucosal level through active vitamin D stimulating proteins involved. Vitamin D also ensures calcium resorption in the kidneys to help balance calcium levels.

SILICON (ORTHOSILICIC ACID) improves hair, skin, nails, joints, teeth and bones from the effects of aging. All these tissues benefit from the strengthening effect of Orthosilicic acid as it enhances cross-linking of collagen. Lower estrogen and aging impact silica absorption which supports supplementation. Studies done examining the beneficial effects of orthosilicic acid on bone, joint and hair thickness and strength all conclusively promote supplementation in osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.

BORON (CALCIUM FRUCTOBORATE FruiteX-B®) has excellent absorption & sustained bioavailability. Calcium Fructoborate provides reduced joint inflammation, improvement in bone and joint health, and enhances the metabolism of the crucial minerals, calcium, phosphorous, and magnesium. The unique natural chelate of two fructose molecules to boron enhances the mineral’s ability to access & attach to cell membrane receptors allowing for optimal parathyroid regulation and reduced vitamin D elimination. Urinary excretion of calcium and magnesium is significantly reduced and hormone balance is supported in post-menopausal women, as Boron supplementation helps the body’s metabolism of Vitamin D & hormonal regulation including estrogen and testosterone. Recent studies have showed calcium fructoborate to be a potent anti-inflammatory nutrient, with clear antioxidant activity. Its involvement in breast cancer cell death was most enlightening, as the calcium fructoborate was successful in turning off the highly inflammatory pathway that drives breast cancer cell replication.

VITAMIN K2 (MENAQUINONE-7 MK-7) has been highlighted in recent evidence for benefits for bone health and vascular function, beyond its role in blood coagulation. MK-7 has the longest half-life in the body compared to other forms of vitamin K. Recent evidence has demonstrated its role in both stimulation of osteoblastic bone and inhibition of osteoclastic bone. Another study revealed significant elevations of osteocalcin blood concentration, a biomarker of bone formation, with use of MK-7. Its presence prevented a reduction in the calcium content of bone tissue, through inhibiton of parathyroid hormone and prostaglandin E2, both factors in bone resorption.
